This week, students took a trip to The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, home to diverse displays of art, local history and natural sciences, as well as the world’s greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics!

Students spent the morning studying local history, looking around the Anglo Saxon Kingdom of Mercia and archaeology galleries which showcase Staffordshire’s rich and diverse archaeological heritage – from daily life in a Roman household to the early potters of Burslem.

The trip followed with a stop off at the library in which students had the opportunity to research more about Stoke’s rich history.

Students were amazed to learn about our industrial past and a lot of fun was had by all!
