The Year 11 students visited Manchester City Centre, where they carried out research using an environmental quality survey for two different areas in Manchester. The two areas they visited were New Islington & Piccadilly Gardens. The students compared these two areas where Urban Regeneration has taken place to see if there has been a positive impact on the locality of the area. The students had the opportunity to speak to the locals in Manchester to get insight in to their opinions on the regeneration that has occurred within Manchester over time.
