The students at Excellence Girls Academy have come together to raise awareness and money to help the people of Palestine, a cause that is very dear to all of our hearts. We find it important to teach our students about the injustice going on around the world, and to encourage them to take steps to help those in need. Charity is an integral part of our Deen, we always strive to educate our students and to give them opportunities so that they can develop charitable endeavours within school.

The students have hosted a Charity Bake Sale this year to raise funds for Palestine; we had a great turn out and donations were made by fellow students and staff who all enjoyed sweet treats during lunch time.

As a school we participated in Non-Uniform day with £1 entry donations, as well as extra donations given by parents and staff, Alhamdulillah.

Our Year 9s hosted a jewellery and stationary sale for fellow students to come and purchase from their stall during break and lunch time.

Alhamdulillah, as a school we have had the opportunity to raise over £1110 to help aid those who have been affected and displaced in Gaza.
