COVID-19 vaccinations for 5-15 year olds

The in-school COVID-19 vaccination programme ended on Friday 1 April.

It remains important however that those most at risk from COVID-19 are protected with vaccinations, and 12 to 15 year olds are still able to access the vaccine outside of school at a vaccination centre, pharmacy or walk-in centre. Healthy 5 to 11 year olds are also now being offered vaccinations outside of school in vaccination centres, pharmacies, GPs and walk-in centres.

Parents should have received a letter from the NHS with more information about how to get their child vaccinated. For all 5 to 11 and 12 to 15 year old vaccinations, parents can book COVID-19 vaccination appointments online for an appointment at a vaccination centre or pharmacy, or can find a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site, to get vaccinated without needing an appointment.
